The Mary Louis Academy takes pride in our rigorous academic program, which is why the day that 7 Seniors and 65 Juniors were inducted into the National Honor Society is special.
The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
To earn this honor, these students have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have completed service projects in our school community and in their local community as well.
In her speech during the ceremony, TMLA Principal Ms.Loriann Murphy recalled one of her favorite quotes from John Quincy Adams: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
To the students, Ms. Murphy said: “Tonight I invite you to continue to dream more, learn more and become more, knowing that you are already leaders and that you inspire me and the whole TMLA family every single day.”
