TMLA named to AP School Honor Roll with Platinum distinction!

The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools for developing an AP program that creates a college-going culture and gives students opportunities to earn college credit and maximize their college outcomes. The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

99% of the Class of 2023 took at least one AP exam during their four years

76% of those seniors scored a three or higher on at least one AP exam

26% of the Class of 2023 took five or more AP exams throughout their time at TMLA

The College Board’s Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) enables students to pursue college-level studies—with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both—while still in high school. Taking AP courses demonstrates to college admissions officers that students have sought the most challenging curriculum available to them.

At TMLA, with 18 AP courses offered, our students learn to think critically, construct solid arguments, and see all sides of an issue—skills that prepare them for college and beyond.
