Neil Simon says that he wrote “Rumors” to cheer himself up. The production by the TMLA Genesians certainly had that effect on the TMLA audiences on Nov.18 and19. From the opening scene of the play it was evident that the actors enjoyed playing their roles and having fun with each other. This atmosphere radiated to the audience who found this play both fun and funny.
The cast and crew deserve all the credit for creating a fresh production of a not-so-well-known Neil Simon work.
